The Full Story
Hey BGMI players! March has been a busy month for KRAFTON as we’ve ramped up our fight against cheaters in the game. We are excited to announce that a whopping 527,899 accounts have been banned this month alone! This is a significant jump of over 110,000 bans compared to February, showing just how serious we are about keeping the Battlegrounds clean.
So, what kind of cheating are we dealing with? A staggering 78.23% of the cheats we detected involved game data modifications or cheat software. It’s alarming, but we’re on top of it! Players using auto-aim hacks made up 16.63%, while wall hacks accounted for 5.08%. Thankfully, we caught just a smidge of speed hacks and area damage modifications, showing that our systems are working effectively.
When we look at where cheaters are lurking, the Ace tier is raising some red flags, with nearly 30% of all detected cheaters coming from this rank. It’s crucial to keep an eye on those top players, but we’re also monitoring other ranks closely to ensure fair play across the board. For instance, Bronze had 13.6%, Silver 8.6%, Gold 13.1%, and so on.
We also took down 907 pieces of cheating content online to further clean up the community. Remember, if you see anything suspicious during your matches, don’t hesitate to use the in-game report button. Your vigilance helps us catch cheaters more quickly and ensures that the Battlegrounds remain a fair and fun place for everyone!
