The Full Story

Hello BGMI players! August has been a busy month for KRAFTON as we ramp up our efforts to combat cheating in Battlegrounds Mobile India. We’re thrilled to report that we’ve banned a staggering 432,538 accounts this past month, which is a significant jump of 24.8% from the previous month. This increase underscores our commitment to providing you with a competitive and enjoyable gaming experience.

Among those banned, a notable 29.3% were Ace-tier players, which shows that we’re catching cheaters at all levels of play. The most commonly detected cheat was auto-aim hacks, making up 18.2% of all violations, with wall hacks following closely behind at 13.8%. A large chunk of the offenders, about 67.9%, were found using various custom or modified cheats, demonstrating the ongoing challenge we face.

To ensure the integrity of our anti-cheat measures, each ban is verified through a combination of automated systems and careful manual reviews. We believe in transparency and accuracy in addressing cheaters.

With the launch of Anti-Cheat 4.0, we’ve introduced several new features aimed at further enhancing our detection capabilities. This includes improvements in identifying cheats like aimbots, see-through hacks, and even those pesky recoil-less weapons. We’re also expanding our monitoring tools to capture teaming violations and any external hacking attempts, keeping the gameplay fair and competitive for everyone.

In addition, players will now receive real-time confirmation messages in the chat box whenever you successfully report a suspected cheater. Your reports are crucial in this ongoing battle, and we want you to know they are making a difference.

Looking ahead, our anti-cheat team remains dedicated to analyzing trends and refining our detection logic. We’ll continue to provide you with monthly updates so you can stay informed about our efforts to maintain a clean battleground. Together, we can ensure BGMI remains a fair and competitive environment for all players.

Thank you for your support and for standing with us as we strive to create a better gaming experience!
