The Full Story
Hello BGMI players! We’re back with our monthly anti-cheat update, and we’ve got some important news to share. July was a busy month for us as we tackled cheating in the game head-on. With a staggering 452,996 penalties handed out, it’s clear we’re committed to preserving fair play in BGMI.
We’ve been keeping a close watch on all forms of cheating, including aimbots and wallhacks, and we’ve seen a notable uptick in unauthorized PAK file modifications. As a result, we’ve tightened our penalty policies; now, first-time offenders face temporary account suspensions instead of just warnings. This change underscores our dedication to maintaining integrity across all ranks.
Your feedback about match disruptions hasn’t gone unnoticed. We understand how frustrating it can be when the game is interrupted by server hackers. In July alone, we penalized 1,834 accounts for these disruptive actions, and we’re actively monitoring the situation to enhance our enforcement efforts.
Let’s not forget the power of our community! Thanks to the Cheater Review Program, 650 accounts were penalized based on valuable reports from players like you. Your vigilance is key in helping us create a fairer environment for everyone.
We’re also expanding our efforts beyond in-game actions. In July, we removed 569 pieces of online cheating content to curb the spread of cheats. This is part of our ongoing commitment to keep BGMI clean and enjoyable.
On a final note, we want to remind all players to keep their accounts secure. Never share your credentials, as this can lead to serious issues. To enhance your security, we recommend linking at least two login methods. If you spot any suspicious activity, be sure to report it in-game!
Thank you for being part of our community, and let’s work together to keep BGMI a safe and fair place for all players!
